Booking Policies
1. Reservation and Deposit:

Event dates are subject to availability. We recommend booking our services well in advance to guarantee availability for your desired date.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.

The non-refundable deposit will be applied towards the total invoice.
2. Event Confirmation and Final Guest Count:

Event confirmation is required 14 days before the event date.Â

A final guest count is required 7 days before the event date. This count will be used to determine the final cost of catering services and to ensure accurate preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
3. Payment Terms:

Full payment for catering services is due 5 days before the event date.

Payments can be made via various methods, including credit card, cheque, or electronic transfer.

Payments not received by the specified due date are considered late.

A late fee may be charged for payments received after the specified due date. The late fee amount and terms will be outlined in the booking agreement.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of catering services, at the discretion of Bissell Harvest Catering.
4. Cancellation and Refunds:

In the event of cancellation by the client, the deposit is non-refundable.

Depending on the timing of the cancellation, additional cancellation fees may apply.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date may be subject to a partial refund, minus the non-refundable deposit and any non-recoverable expenses incurred by Bissell Harvest Catering.
5. Menu Changes and Special Requests:

Clients may request changes to the menu or special dietary accommodations up to 7 days before the event date.

Additional charges may apply for menu changes or special requests made after 7 days.
6. Service Hours and Overtime Charges:

Catering services are typically provided as outlined in the booking agreement.

Overtime charges may apply for events that exceed the agreed-upon service hours.
7. Force Majeure:

In the event of circumstances beyond the control of Bissell Harvest Catering, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, or government regulations, Bissell Harvest Catering reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event without liability.
8. Insurance, Permits, and Liability:

Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary insurance coverage and/or permits for the event, including but not limited to liability insurance.

Bissell Harvest Catering is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that occur during the event, except to the extent caused by Bissell Harvest Catering’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Dispute Resolution:

In the event of a dispute between the client and Bissell Harvest Catering, both parties agree to engage in good-faith negotiations to resolve the issue.

If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, both parties may seek legal recourse to resolve the dispute in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
